Healthy Bodies for Life
Lisa McCartney Ngo (Owner/ Pilates Teacher) has
been teaching Pilates for eight years in both fitness
and rehabilitation after being a client herself since
1990.  Before opening her own studio, she started the
citywide Pilates program at HEALTHSOUTH clinics
and has taught Pilates at Greenwood Athletic Club and
MATRIX Rehabilitation Centers.  She has trained
extensively in classical Pilates at The Pilates Center in
Boulder, Colorado, and is certified in Pilates-based
Rehabilitation through Polestar Education Center.  She
also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance
from Arizona State University.  Having worked with
people of all ages and fitness levels, she has helped
many people’s pain and injuries and improved others’
athletic performances.  Pilates has improved her own
dancing, mountain climbing, and injuries, including
scoliosis, which started as a 26° curve and is now less
than 10°.  Her own weekly Pilates lessons keep her
active.  She loves teaching Pilates and it invigorates
her to see the improvements, confidence, and
happiness it brings to her clients.

Alayna Lee (Pilates Teacher) grew up in Colorado.  
She danced from an early age through high school
earning the first place title at her senior year Nationals
competition with her high school squad.  She played
competitive club volleyball as well as earned numerous
MVP awards for her school.  On a search to find that
one athletic "fit" for her, she tried Pilates.  Alayna fell
head-over-heels for Pilates because it strengthens,
stretches, and balances the body while having a deep
mind and body connection.  After seeing amazing
results within her own body, she was inspired to share
her passion with others to help them grow, learn, and
create their own journey within the Pilates method.  
Alayna is a classically trained teacher who is actively
taking courses to further her depth of knowledge.  She
is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance and feels
very strongly about protecting and enhancing the
Pilates method.
